Locations
The Locations menu can be accessed from the Admin module.
Use the search bar to filter by name, ZIP code, country, address, content owner, operations manager or location ID. The list will be filtered as you type.
You can sort the list by clicking on any of the headings except ID and Action.
If you need the Location ID number, hover on the clipboard to the left of the location name. You can click it if you want to copy the ID to your clipboard.
How to Add a New Location
From the Locations screen, click the New Location button. Input the Location's name, country, ZIP code, and address and click Save.
If you work with an organisation who manages your content or maintenance, you can give users from that organisation permission to access content or data for this location. Click the Content Owner or Operations Manager dropdown to select the associated organisation.
If there aren't any organisations listed and you would like to use this function, please contact Candelic to set up an associated organisation for you.
When there is an associated Content Owner or Operations Manager assigned to any of your locations, the related organisation will be listed on the Locations menu.
How to Edit a Location
If you wish to make changes to a Location, click the Edit button located under the Action column. This will bring up the Location details pop-up for you to make changes. When you're done, click the Save button.
How to Delete a Location
To delete a Location, click the Delete button located under the Action column.
A confirmation pop-up will appear for you to confirm the action. If you are sure you would like to delete a Location, click the Confirm Delete button.
If a location has any related controllers or screens, they will also be deleted so be careful when deleting locations.
If you accidentally delete a location, it may be possible to recover it. Please contact Candelic for assistance.
