Controllers
The Controllers screen can be accessed from the Admin module.
Use the search bar to filter by name or location. The list will be updated as you type.
You can sort the list by clicking on any of the headings except ID and Action.
If you need the Controller ID number, hover on the clipboard to the left of the Controller name. You can click it if you want to copy the ID to your clipboard.
How to Add a New Controller
From the Controllers screen, click the New Controller button. Select the associated location or click Create New to set up a new location.
Input the name of the controller and click Save. If you want to see diagnostics from the controller, ensure that you leave it showing as Enabled, which is the default setting.
To return to the previous screen, click the Select Location button at the top of the screen.
How to Edit a Controller
If you wish to make changes to a controller, click the Edit button located under the Action column. This will bring up the Controller details pop-up for you to make changes. When you're done, click the Save button.
How to Delete a Controller
To delete a controller, click the Delete button located under the Action column.
A confirmation pop-up will appear for you to confirm the action. If you are sure you would like to delete a controller, click the Confirm Delete button.
If a controller has any related screens, they will also be deleted so be careful when deleting Controllers.
If you accidentally delete a controller, it may be possible to recover it. Please contact Candelic for assistance.
